DALE, Lawson: Suddenly at Mesa Arizona, Wednesday, March 18th, 1992. Lawson Dale, in his 57th year, beloved husband of Dorothy, loving father of Debbie of Vancouver, Diane and her husband George James of Cambridge and Brent at home. Dear son-in-law of Ada Watson of Bradford, brother of Grace (Mrs. Jack Church), Laura (Mrs. Charles Colton)[,] Joseph and Barbar Letts. Pre-deceased by Wes Helen (Mrs. Everet Treloar) Mary (Mrs Jack Rowe) and William Dale. Rested at the Rod Abrams Funeral Home, Tottenham, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 til 9:00 p.m., Sunday. Funeral Service was held in the Chapel, 1:30 p.m. Monday followed by internment [sic] at St. John Cemetery, 6th line Tecumseth Township. Donations in Lawson's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Devoted grandmother of David, Paul, Jeffrey and Stephen Lynch, Stephanie, Amanda and Christina Foster, Carly and Kirk Wright. Friends called at the Paul F. Kent Funeral Home, Hwy. #27, N. Cookstown. Funeral service will be held at Cookstown United Church on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment Alliston Union Cemetery. Memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.

Beloved husband of Alberta, loving father of Bonnie, Doug, Sue, Donna, Craig, Melody, Jimmy and Sylvia. Special grandfather of Shawn, Nikki, Julie, Tanya, Steven, Elizabeth, Natasha, Lance, Candice and Amanda. Dear brother of Murray and the late Clayton and Harry. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation was held at the McKelvey Funeral Home, 264 Burton Ave., Barrie on Friday. Service was on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Churchill. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. If so desired donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

King Township Man Drowned In Canal

"George Murray Gillam, 29, of R.R. 3 King, was drowned in the canal, Holland Marsh, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Werner Ploder, son of Mr. A. Ploder, Holland Marsh, was returning home around 1:50 a.m. when tat the bridge, located at the far end of Ansnorveld, he saw the lights of a car in the water, and hurried to his home from where he called the King township police.
Bradford firemen were called, responding to the call at about 2 a.m. and they took the young man's body from the water, and a few hours later hauled the car out.
The car had gone through the guard rail of the bridge, where the water is about seven feet deep. Mr. Gillam was alone in his car."
