Description : Deceased, whose maiden name was Emma Wyatt, died in her 67th year. She was born in England and came to Bradford about twenty-six years ago. Ten years ago she married William George Bell, of Gilford. She had been in failing health for some time. The funeral was held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Matthews, with service in St. John's Presbyterian Church, Coulson's Hill, Rev. Mr. Butt, of Churchill, officiating. Interment took place in St. John's Cemetery.

Description : Although never a resident of Bradford, because of her family's many friends here, the long illness of Mrs. Irene Bell, formerly Irene Evans, has been followed with very sympathetic interest in this district, and at this time of her passing, the sympathy of the community will be extended to members of her family.Mrs. Irene Bell was the eldest daughter of Mrs. Olive Evans and was living in Toronto before any of the members of the family came from Beeton to Bradford. Her husband predeceased her about twelve years ago.A brother and sister in Detroit, survive, and the rest of the family are very well known in this area, namely, Josie (Mrs. John Batchelor) of Barrie; Norma (Mrs. Joe Noble) of Bond Head; Marjorie (Mrs. Thomas Fuller) of Bradford, and D. Arthur Evans of Bradford.The funeral was held on Monday from the Humphrey Funeral Home, Bayview Ave., with interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.

Description : The recent very sudden death of Mr. Roy Bell at his Barrie home was followed on December 27, 1965, by that of his wife, who passed away in Barrie Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Bell never appeared to recover from the shock of her husband's death.Born at Rugby, Oro Township, Mr. and Mrs. Bell were married there in 1912, and lived at Elmvale until 1919 when they came to West Gwillimbury in the Fennells district, remaining there until their retirement to Barrie in 1947. While in West Gwillimbury she was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church, Coulson's Hill, and since going to Barrie of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church.Mrs. Bell is survived by her daughter Marion (Mrs. William Watt) of Bond Head; her son Kenneth of Barrie, and grandchildren, Jean, Bob and Mary Jane Watt, and Gary, Don and Jimmy Bell; also a sister, Mrs. Margaret Pearson of Orillia. Rev. Ross Adams conducted the funeral services from the Steckley Funeral Home, Barrie and interment was made in St. John's Cemetery, Coulson's Hill.The pallbearers were her nephews, Bob Pearson, Clarence Baynes, Ken Hughes, Ray Gillespie, Tom Bell and John Bell.
