A record book of births that occurred in the Bradford area. The record covers births attended by Drs. B. L. Sinclair and Ray Judge from 1938 - 1947 and was recorded by Mae Fuller. Fuller was an area midwife and also ran a "nursing home" out of her home on Church Street.
"Last Sunday, May 27th, the town of Bradford launched 14 months of celebration, marking the 150th year since its incorporation. In fact, the "actual receiving of Royal Assent incorporating the village of Bradford... was done on May 27th, 1857 by Queen Victoria," said Bradford Sesquicentennial Committee Chair Del Crake, "ten years prior to Confederation." ..."
Bradford Fire Chief Ted Bulpit celebrated his 65th birthday on Thursday. Fellow Work's Department employees and office staff attended the small celebration. Bulpit has been employed in the Works Department for 11 years and has served as a part-time Fire Chief since 1979. He "Officially" retired as of January 26th, but will "still be around" til March.
September 21, 1991 Birth Katherine Marie Elizabeth daughter of John and Mikki Namowski [sic], sister of John-Paul, Michael, Joey and Anne was born at home Saturday, September 21, 1991 at 11:26 a.m. and weighed 4lb. 6 oz. She was delivered by Heroes: Dave Hargraves and Alan Perry Lewis Ambulance Service. Proud grandparents are: Joseph and Anna Matys and Kathe Nanowski.
