Description : Died at his home in Burbank, California. Husband of May McKenzie; father of daughter Frances, and brother of the late Mrs. Ruth Saint. The deceased was born in Bradford and was first employed in the butcher business by Wm. Davey. On Jan. 1, 1906, he bought the business from Mr. Davey but later that year sold to Mr. James A. Webb and left town. Mr. Archer was an outstanding athlete, and being a member of Bradford's famous lacrosse team, played centre field with such well known team mates as Jas. Webb, R. McKinstry and the late Dr. Campbell.

Description : Died suddenly at the hunting camp in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret McAuley, and dear father of Mrs. J. H. Lukes (Leona) of Midland; Mrs. Grant Barnes (Catherine) of Merrickville; Margaret, Oswald, Minto, Gordon, Mac and Archie. Rested at the T. Kilkenny & Son Funeral Home, Simcoe St., Bradford. Funeral service on Saturday at 3 p.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. (Masonic Service).
W. Davey Butcher Shop. W. Davey is the man standing in front of the shop with the apron on. It later became Webb's Butcher Shop. He is the one sitting on the carriage. It then became Pezzanitti's Meat Shop until a few years ago. The shop was located on the north side of Holland Street, west of Barrie Street.
