Adams' children

These are the children of Charles and Emily (Johnson) Adams, farmers of Bradford. David and John in the back row, and their sisters Bertha, Lilly (Perry) and Emily (Else). Jessie Lawrence is not pictured as she lived in Saskatchewan. David and John fought in World War I, though John died in Belgium on November 10th, 1917 and is buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery.

This is William L. Campbell with the baby Lewis (Lew) Campbell in front of their home at 129 Barrie Street. W.L. Campbell operated a drugstore on Holland Street for many years in Bradford. His descendants still live in the area.

Melville Williams Family

Vera Peterman of Bradford drove the horse-drawn dairy wagon for seven years. She was the first of four Peterman girls to do so in the 35 years the dairy was running. She married Melville Williams of Tottenham. He was a blacksmith around Tottenham, as was his father Henry. The blacksmith shop was by the railroad track (now gone) north of #9 at Wolf Rd. Peterman family owned a dairy farm at what is now known as 319 Simcoe Rd.
