Daughter of Grace Simpson and the late Archie Simpson of Gilford. Sister of Mary Dawe (Harvey), Albert Simpson (Shirley), Alice Ritchie (Lawrence), Ronald Simpson (Joan), Diana Davey (Ray), George Simpson (Margaret), Ruth Verrips (Dick), Elsie Visser, Robert Simpson (Julie), Kenneth Simpson (Marianne), Shawn Simpson (Diane), Patrick Simpson (Sandy), Heather Simpson, Sheila Visser (Rick), the late James Simpson and Tim Taylor (Joanne). Also survived by 72 nieces and nephews. Remembered by many children in Foxboro whom she babysat. Funeral services at the McConnell Funeral Home, Madoc. Interment in Eldorado Cemetery, Eldorado. He had been a resident of West Gwillimbury Township for the past 45 years.A native of King, where he was born on January 8, 1869, the deceased was a son of the late William and Anne Andrews. He moved from King to Bond Head, and later to West Gwillimbury Township.A member of the Anglican Church, the late Mr. Andrews served as church warden of Pinkerton Church for over 30 years. He was a supporter of the Conservative Party, and had played football and hardball in his youth. A member of Coulson's Hill L.O.L., he was a trustee of Pinkerton School for 25 years.Surviving of his large family are two brothers, James Andrews, Bond Head, and Walter Andrews, West Gwillimbury, and a sister, Mrs. Findlay of North Dakota, along with eight children, George, West Hill; Russell, Scarboro; Mrs. Marjorie Hunt, Bradford; Borden, Pinkerton; Mrs. Mabel Graham, Barrie; Herbert, Pinkerton; Mrs. Sadie Mundy, Mount Pleasant, and Eldon, Barrie. His wife, the former Esther McDonnell, predeceased him on June 4, 1944.The funeral service was held at St. Paul's Church, Coulson's Hill. Pallbearers were Harold Andrews, William Andrews, Elwood Bateman, Edward Fennell, John Robinson and Thomas Brown. Interment was in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery.
