van Ry, Jan, passed away peacefully at home in Dunchurch on Friday March 12, 1993 in his 69th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Wren) van Ry. Loving son of the late Jacob and Tina van Ry and loving son-in-law of Ena Wren of Dunchurch and the late Christopher. Dear father of James of Bradford and Donna also of Bradford; Jana and her husband Paul Thompson of Lakefield; Judy and her husband Peter Harway of Dunchurch; Marianne Smith of Tottenham; and Mark of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Joshua, Amanda, Jacob and Caleb van Ry; Vaughan, Jamie and Christopher Thompson; Meaghan McClymont, Zachary and Hilary Jane Harway; and Scott Smith. Dear brother of Enny DeBest of Bradford and the late Casey and Gary. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Rested in the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James St., Parry Sound. Service at 11:30 a.m. Monday March 15, in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Parry Sound. Interment Hillcrest Mausoleum and Fairholme Cemetery, Dunchurch in the spring.
