Description : Bob Mooney, 22, was killed as he was water skiing off Bayview Beach, between Innisfil Township's First and Second Lines.Police and volunteers found his broken waist-style lifebelt floating on the water near where he went down almost immediately after he sunk. His body was not recovered for another ten hours. Police are still investigating.He had been working at a crate factory in Bradford and sending money home. He was a dedicated part-time police officer, and had been with the Emergency Measures Organization force for about two years.In addition to his parents Harold and Leona, Mooney is survived by two sisters, Patricia and Doreen, and two brothers, Howard and Wayne. All reside at their parent's home in Owen Sound.Friends called at Lewis Funeral Home, Bradford, yesterday.Funeral services will be held at Breckinridge Ashcraft Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.

During the war he served in the U.S. Army transportation corps. Mr. Bates was a member of Asbury Methodist Church in Bradford, Penn. and was a Moose.
