One of the worst snow storms Bradford had seen happened in 1947. The snow was so high in some spots that you could touch the phone lines. This picture shows Lew Campbell atop one of the drifts, somewhere in the north end of Bradford. Image of the front cover of the book, "The Doctor at Home," published in 1892 by Dr. B. J. Kendall & Co. This item was owned by William Campbell, a grain dealer in Bradford and father to William L., Dr. Lewis H. and Elizabeth F. Campbell.

W.L. Campbell opened the store around 1891. It was located at 10 Holland St. West. He was the son of William Campbell, grain dealer, and brother of Dr. L.H. Campbell. He was born in Bradford. W.L. attended the Ontario College of Pharmacy, in Toronto, and graduated in 1891, winning the College medal for general proficiency. He was also an expert lacrosse player, until a knee injury kept him from playing. He then took over duties as the team's secretary-treasurer, and the team has since won two provincial championships and one inter-championship. He is also a member of the gun club.

An 1903 reprint/summary of parts of the March 26th, 1863 edition of the South Simcoe Times. Printed by the Bradford Witness as part of the "Bradford 4_ Years Ago" series. It has significant information and parts from the mentioned edition.

An article about a highly destructive fire that swept through Holland Street, destroying multiple buildings, businesses and homes. The original article appeared in the May 22nd, 1871 edition of the Toronto Daily Telegraph and was reprinted in 1901 as part of the "Looking Backward" series.
