A booklet for a Founder's Day event at the Bradford Public Library on February 3, 1993 to "Celebrat[e] 37 Years of Public Library Service and 127 Years of Library Service in Bradford." It was researched and compiled by Librarian Adrienne Price.

The event shared history and had various guest speakers.

"More than 50 library supporters gathered last week to pay tribute to those who originally brought library services to the Bradford Area. Dubbed Founder's Day, the event brought together staff and support workers both past and present, and featured a talk from library specialist Stan Beacock...Present library staff decided to invent their own 'holiday' to celebrate 37 years of Public Library service, and 127 years of library service..."

"The Bradford Public Library officially opened their new premises at 100 Holland Court on Sunday, November 6, 1988. On hand to officiate over the "ribbon cutting ceremony" was Mayor Bill dePeuter, Librarian Adrienne Price and Honorary Chairman, Mr. Charlie Evans.
The unexpectedly large crowd presented a few problems, no one organizing the event had anticipated. Mrs. Eleanor Sherbo, Chairperson of the Library Board wishes to extend her apologues to those present who could not hear the ceremonies. Apparently, the cord became dislodged from the corridor speakers.
Following the official ceremonies, a reception was held in the "Compton room", a room dedicated to Marilyn & Gord Compton on behalf of the Library Board in consideration of their very substantial monetary donation."

Bradford Lions Club President Lawrence Sturdy presents Bradford Public Library Librarian Adrienne Price with a plaque to be hung at the library in recognition of the Lions Club's donation to the Library Local History Room. Presented at the official opening event for the new Bradford Public Library on November 6, 1988.

The plaque reads:

"This Local History Room was furnished by the Lions Club of Bradford to Commemorate the visit of Judge Brian Stevenson of Calgary President of the International Association of Lions Clubs on the occasion of their 50th anniversary October 9. 1987."
