Mother of John and Louis Cogo, Monica Hogan, Frank Lotto, Rose Marie Wray, Michael Lotto and predeceased by Anthony Cogo and Margaret Arsenault. Sister of Tommy Reali, Lucy Catcher, Alva Romagnoli, Albina Reali and predeceased by Albert, John and Gino Reali, Gloria Kerr and Amelia Borsa. Also survived by many grandchildren. Visitation at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford. Funeral Mass at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, Bradford. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill. Donations to the Cancer Unit at the York County Hospital Foundation, Newmarket, would be appreciated.*Original stored in Joe Saint Collection.

LOTTO - Josephine - At Arbor Living Center, Newmarket on Sunday, October 30, 1994, Josephine Reali of Bradford in her 85th year. Beloved of the late Vito Lotto and the Late Louis Cogo. Dear mother of John and Louis Cogo, Monica Hogan, Frank Lotto, Rose Marie Way, Michael Lotto and predeceased by Anthony Cogo and Margaret Arsenault. Dear sister of Tommy Reali, Lucy Catcher, Alva Romagnoli, Albini Reali, and predeceased by Albert, John and Gino Reali, Glory Kerr and Amelia Borsa. Also survived by many grandchildren. Friends called at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford. Funeral Mass was held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, Bradford on Wednesday , November 2, 1994 at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill. Donations to Cancer at the York County Hospital Foundation, Newmarket would be appreciated.

Uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Member of the famed Bradford Six" and Newmarket Redmen Hockey teams 1926-1933. 48-year employee of Office Specialty Newmarket. Veteran WWII. Longtime active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #426 Newmarket. Visitation at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home Newmarket. Interment in Newmarket Cemetery. Memorial donations to the York County Hospital Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.

This image documents the 8th Canadian Field Ambulance at the time of the signing of the armistice ending WWI on November 11, 1918 and can be found in a war photograph album belonging to Lieutenant Colonel Ernest Raymond Selby. The photographs in the album are both original photographs taken by Dr. Selby and copies of official Canadian military photographs. Selby was born in and grew up in the Bradford West Gwillimbury area before moving to Calgary, Alberta. Many of the men pictured were awarded medals in recognition of honour and/or bravery.
