Members of the Bradford chapter of the IODE celebrated the 25th anniversary of its founding on Wednesday June 12. (From the left) Deputy-reeve Milt Hambly, Councillor Sandy Hudson and Reeve Ken Wood of Bradford were present at the opening of the Professor E.A. Smith Natural Resources Educational Centre last Wednesday. The centre is located on the ninth concession east of Highway 11. The 600-acre conservation area will be used to teach students from separate and public school boards about flora and fauna of the surrounding forest.

"Lexicon" was sired by the International and Royal Winter Fair Supreme Champion, Scotsdale Jupiter and sold at $1,050 to Murray Faris and Son, Bradford, Ont. From the left are seen, S. G. Edith Cutting presents Bradford's oldest citizen Walter King with a plaque commemorating his 95th birthday last week. Mrs. Cutting and Mr. King helped found the Gay 60s senior citizens club several years ago. The club was jammed with members last week helping Mr. King celebrate the occasion.
