He lived here for 48 years.Served the municipality for a long time as overseer of streets and sidewalks, and other minor offices.Survived by two sons and one daughter: Thomas, of Toronto; Fred, of Collingwood, Ohio; and Mrs. A. Coates, of Burlington.His wife died 21 years ago, and his oldest daughter also predeceased him.Died at the residence of his son, Toronto, where he had been living for the last 5 years.Age: 88th year.Funeral took place from the residence of Mr. James Coates.Interred in Mount Pleasant cemetery, Bradford.
