Description : Died at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston. Of Newton Robinson, beloved wife of the late James Edney, dear mother of Charlotte (Mrs. W. Birch), Laura, Annie (Mrs. W. Madill), Marjorie (Mrs. M. Connery), Ina (Mrs. J. Ainslie), Perla (Mrs. G. Piggott), Doris (Mrs. R. Mills), Jean (Mrs. N. Staynor), predeceased by Treva (Mrs. W. Agar), Earl and Muriel. Also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, dear sister of Ernest, Russell and Myrtle (Mrs. A. Olsen). Resting at the Hughes Funeral Home, Cookstown, for service on Oct. 20 at 2:30 p.m. Interment Newton Robinson Cemetery.

Description : Died at the Stevenson Memorial Nursing Home, Alliston. Of Bond Head, wife of the late Dr. J. A. Cummings and mother of Kenneth of Plainfield, N.J., Harley of Ottawa, Victor of Bond Head and Julian of Oakville and survived by four grandchildren. Rested at the Lewis Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford, until noon Wednesday, then to Trinity Anglican Church, Bond Head, for service at 2 p.m. Interment St. John's Tecumseth Cemetery.

Rested at the Anderson Funeral Home, Tottenham, until Saturday noon. Funeral service in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Beeton, at 2 p.m. Interment Presbyterian Cemetery, Beeton.

Description : Death came with startling suddenness to Kenneth M. Morris, former well-known Bradford man, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, on Wednesday last, May 19, following a stroke.The late Mr. Morris was born in Bradford in 1889, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morris of Bradford. He attended Bradford schools and in early life went into the line of business he continued in most successfully during his lifetime, that of restaurant and hotel operation.Known locally as Ken" Morris the deceased built the first Riverview Inn building at Bradford. After building up this business he sold it and bought the site of property formerly owned by his grandfather on which he built The Village Inn. Selling this in 1941 he was in Barrie for a time then Bracebridge where he owned a restaurant and a hotel before going to Hamilton where he was operating a hotel at the time of his death. Mr. Morris is survived by his wife the former Bertha Campbell and two sons Kenneth of Hamilton and Robert attending University of Toronto; also by three brothers Rex, Max and Merle and two sisters Mrs. Thelma McDonald of Beeton and Mrs. Challie Brown of Corpus Christi. Two brothers predeceased him Job and Benson (Pat).The funeral was held in Toronto on Saturday with interment in Alliston.

Description : "Former resident of Barrie. Thompson C. Fisher, who celebrated his 91st birthday last Wednesday [September 4, 1944], died in Toronto on Sunday. He had resided in Toronto for five years. Born at Bond Head, Mr. Fisher was a graduate of Upper Canada College. For a time he engaged in farming at Thompsonville and Ivy and later became associate with the insurance business in Alliston and Barrie. Surviving are two sons, Dr. R.E. Fisher, Toronto, and Dr. C.M. Fisher, Chicago, Ill."
