Carolyn Sproule, the first wife of Charles Watson. She lived from 1840-1870 and died at the age of 30. Charles and Carolyn had 5 children: Isabella (who married William Rowe), Mary-Anne (who married George Brown), Susan, Nelson and William John (who married Ida Banting).
Charles Watson Sr., whose first wife was Carolyn Sproule with whom he had all his children with, and whose second wife was Sarah McKeeman- with whom he had no children.
Two page hand-written letter in black ink tied together using a green piece of ribbon, with a blank covering page. Letter is addressed to George and Hettie (Banting) Atkins and signed from Thomas Reynolds, Ellen Reynolds, E. J. Chapman and Catherine Chapman. Given to the Atkins at the time they moved from the community.
"The Pocket Treasury" Military Edition. Bible verse book with gold cover that and black writing on cover, name and address information written on inside cover in pencil (presumably by Norman Coutts). Owned by Norman Coutts (1903-2002), husband of Isobel Watson Coutts. He did not go to war due to a heart murmur and was raised on Concession 4, Lot 7 in West Gwillimbury.

Charles Banting, who is father to Ida Banting. Charles married Jane McDermott and together they had 5 children: Ida Jane, Anna Mary, Effie Jemima, Susan Bertha and Edith Amy. Charles lived from 1840-1921.

Anna Mary (Annie) Banting, married to Robert Gordon Agnew. Together they had 2 children together: Robert Earl and Ruth Margaret. Anna was born December 27th, 1874 and passed away December 28, 1964.
