Honeymoon in New York. Couple will live on groom's farm in Scomberg.

Description : At York County Hospital, following an illness of about four weeks. Born in Ireland, came to Canada when he was four with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. George McDonnell of West Gwillimbury. Stone mason in his younger years, later became a farmer. Predeceased by his wife three years previous. Farm was sold and he lived with his sisters in Bradford. Brother of George, Miss Sarah McDonnell, Miss Ethel McDonnell, and Miss Bella McDonnell, all of Bradford. Funeral held December 16 from the T. Kilkenny & Son Funeral Home, Bradford, with interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Coulson's Hill. Rector Rev. Blevin Atkinson of Cookstown was assisted by Rev. H.G. Blake in conducting the service.

Description : Suddenly at home, in his 82nd year. Service at the Funeral Parlours of T. Kilkenny & Son, Bradford, on December 26 at 4 p.m. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Came to Beeton from Wales in 1912. Later worked on farms in the Scotch Settlement. Too old to join the army in World War I, he lied about his age and served with the 76th Battalion. Wounded in action. Worked for the late Mr. R.F. Green and cared for him for several years following Mrs. Green's death. Friend of Mr. G.G. Green, he was cared for by Mrs. Green until he became senile, upon which he moved to a shack near the Marsh. Buried in the Green family plot in a spot reserved for him by Mr. G.G. Green. Funeral grom the T. Kilkenny & Son Funeral Home December 27. Service conducted by Rev. F.G. MacTavish.

Kilkenny & Son Funeral Home on January 2, by her minister Rev. F.G. MacTavish of the United Church. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
