A bench plane made largely of wood with a metal blade, specifically a smoothing plane. It would be used for shaping wood or smoothing a wood surface in woodworking/carpentry.

Part of a collection of woodworking tools and items owned by Walter Reeves and Joseph Mark (Mark was original spelling before it changed to Marks). Reeves was Bradford Town Constable and Mark was a railway worker. Donated by their grandson, Bill Marks.

Leather horse bridle. Date of creation unknown.

Wooden and metal horse-drawn wagon/cart bar. This item would have been used to connect the wagon/cart with the horses pulling it.

Four metal measuring spoons, bound with a leather string: 1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1 tsp, 1tbs.

Photograph of the Holland River Bridge in 1920. The boat in the centre of the photograph are the hay-cutters of the Holland Marsh on the boat they would use to transport their daily work. This was prior to the marsh's drainage. Horses were transported up-river to work on the Marsh wearing wooden shoes. In the photograph, there are men fishing off the bridge, and on the right side (west of the bridge) you can see the water tower which trains used to fill up their water supply.

This receipt was received in a donation by Bill Marks on December 14, 2016. The front page of this receipt shows the income/business taxes of Henry Harman, 10 John Street, in 1912. The back of the receipt shows Henry's calculations when he filled it out.
