Description : At the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, in his 89th year. Resident of Barrie and formerly of Bradford. Husband of the late Helen Morris. Father of Maxine (Mrs. Dalton R. Slessor) of Trout Creek, Winfield and his wife Lucy of Brampton, Ada (Mrs. Walter Woodhouse) of Malton and Ester Sirett of Toronto. Grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services at the Jennett Chapel of the McClelland and Slessor Funeral Home, Barrie. Interment in Barrie Union Cemetery, Barrie.

Father of James and Donna, both of Bradford; Jana and her husband Paul Thompson of Lakefield; Judy and her husband Peter Harway of Dunchurch; Marianne Smith of Tottenham; and Mark of Toronto. Grandfather of Joshua, Amanda, Jacob and Caleb van Ry; Vaughan, Jamie and Christopher Thompson; Meaghan McClymont, Zachary and Hilary Jane Harway; and Scott Smith. Brother of Enny DeBest of Bradford and the late Casey and Gary. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Rested in the Logan Funeral Home, Parry Sound. Interment in Hillcrest Mausoleum and Fairholme Cemetery, Dunchurch in the spring.
