Mr. and Mrs. Wadds made their home in Nelson, B.C. before moving back to Toronto in 1912. It was after her husband's death that she came to Bond Head to live with her daughter.Mrs. Wadds was a church worker and during her residence in Toronto had been active in the work of the old Queen Street Methodist Church, Wesley United Church, Wimbourn Park United Church, Simpson Avenue United Church and Danforth United Church.The funeral was to St. John's Cemetery, Norway, the burial place of her husband and parents.
