Schlarb, Gerand and Sylvia are pleased to announce the arrival of their daughter, Stephanie Sylvia (little sister for Ryan). Stephanie was born December 1, 1989, at 9:53 p.m., weighing 7 lbs. 5 oz. Happy grandparents are Mr. and Mr.s Alfred Baumgartner and Mr. Henry Schlarb and Elazabeth Schlarb. Many thanks to Dr. Barcza and the maternity staff at York County Hospital.

A record book of births that occurred in the Bradford area. The record covers births attended by Drs. B. L. Sinclair and Ray Judge from 1938 - 1947 and was recorded by Mae Fuller. Fuller was an area midwife and also ran a "nursing home" out of her home on Church Street.

Birth announcement for Lewis Blanchard Campbell, hand-written by his uncle, Dr. Lewis H. Campbell, dated March 27, 1919. He was the son of William L. and Marjorie Campbell. Also includes a hand-written note sent to Jamestown, New York to Marjorie Campbell's family.

New Years baby for Bradford (birth)
Elisabeth Gomes, 28, of Bradford was the proud mother of the first baby born at York County Hosptial in 1992. Baby Amanda was born at 7:11 p.m. on January 1st, weighing in at 7 lbs 5 oz.
A first child for Elisabeth and husband Carlos, Amanda was 13 days early, but just in time to be number 1. She was presented with a silver cup by the Hospital, as part of their 70th anniversary celebrations.
York County Hospital had planned to present special commemorative cups to the first ten babies born on January 1st, but were foiled by the lack of a baby boom. Only two infants were born on New Years' Day.
The second was a baby girl, born at 8:56 p.m. to Allison Leve of Schomberg.
