He had been a well known resident of this community for a good number of years. Prior to his retirement last June he worked as caretaker of the Schomberg Public School.He leaves his wife Ottalene Brown, his daughter, Doris, son-in-law Grant Leonard, and two grandchildren, Peter and Diane. Brother to Mrs. Alex McKenn (Fanny) of Schomberg and Addison Wood of Regina, Sask. He rested at Andersons Funeral Home, Tottenham, from Friday night until Sunday night. Funeral services were held in the Schomberg United Church (where he had been an elder) Sunday afternoon and burial in Schomberg Union Cemetery.
