WRIGHT, Edythe Muriel. Quietly at Solders Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Sunday May 31, 1992. Edythe Wright formerly of Cookstown in her 67th year. Dearly beloved wife of Ivan. Dear mother of Louise, Barbara Foster, Mary Lynch and John. Daughter of Irene Gilroy. Sister of Betty Downey and Earl Gilroy. Devoted grandmother of David, Paul, Jeffrey and Stephen Lynch, Stephanie, Amanda and Christina Foster, Carly and Kirk Wright. Friends called at the Paul F. Kent Funeral Home, Hwy. #27, N. Cookstown. Funeral service will be held at Cookstown United Church on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment Alliston Union Cemetery. Memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.

WRIGHT - Charles E. at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, St. Catharines, onTuesday April 21, 1992, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Gerturde (Crosley). Dear brother of Arthur Wright and his wife Gladys, Eric Wright and his wife Co, Phillip Wright and his wife Gladys, all of Bradford. Harold Wright and his wife Vivian of Guelph, Peter Wright and his wife Maxine of Meaford, Mary and her husband Harry Underhill in Alberta. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Wright was employed with the Leonard Hotel in St. Catharines for 35 years. A member of the Dunlop Drive Senior Citizens Assn. Funeral services was held in the Hulse and English Funeral Chapel, 75 Church St., St. Catharines on Thursday April 23, 1992 at 3 p.m. followed by cremation.

Lewis officiated at Cookstown United Church. Matron of honour: bride's sister, Mrs. William Kell. Bridesmaids: Betty Gilroy, sister of the bride, and Miss Mildred Wright, sister of the groom. Flower girls: cousins of the bride, Miss Marjorie Lowe and Miss Grace Porritt. Groomsman: William Kell. Ushers: Earl Gilroy and Calvin Wright. Bride taught in Newton Robinson school until June and both she and the groom were active in the Junior Farmers' Club. Couple will reside on the groom's farm near Cookstown.

Two World War I medals. The medal on the left is a British War Medal, awarded to all who saw action from 1914-1918 in World War I and all who served in Russia from 1919-1920. The one on the right was made by Andrew Neilly, a jeweller in Bradford, and was given to soldiers returning from World War I by the community of Bond Head.
