The Bradford Model School pictured was constructed in 1878 to replace a previous building destroyed by fire.
Mr. Frank Wood was the first principal in 1878.
It was established by Simcoe County Council for the training of teachers, and by 1907, 496 teachers were trained there.
Upon the discontinuance of Model training in Ontario, the building continued to be Bradford Public School until the new Bradford Public School was erected in 1951. The Model School was located east of the present school.
It consisted of three rooms downstairs, and two large ones upstairs. It was made of brick, and was heated by two coal furnaces.

This building was built in about 1950 as catholic school, and has since been used as a nursery school and seniors centre.

Built around 1923, it is now Fred C. Cook Public School.

This high school was located on Queen Street. It consisted of four large classrooms, two upstairs and two down, and a natural history room. It was built in 1892. The school employed three teachers. In 1900, the number of students was 87. In 1904, it was 144. The first head master was S. Arthur Marling. This building burned down in 1924.

"Last Wednesday the students and staff at Innisfil Central School honoured two long time bus drivers who retired this year. The two men were given plaques in appreciation for their years of service. "Bradford District High School won the York Simcoe High School Boys Softball Championships for the sixth year in a row. They defeated Dr. G.W. Williams High School in Aurora 4-2 with three innings overtime.
