October 31, 1994 Death DEVLIN - Edward (Ted) - Peacefully at York County Hospital, Newmarket on Monday, October 31, 1994. Ted Devlin of Bradford, loving husband of Lorna Lancaster. Beloved father of Donald of Aurora and Roy of Bradford. Predeceased by his father Roy, his mother Marion and his brother Charles. A funeral service was held in the chapel of the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford, on Thursday, November 3, 1994 at 2 p.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. Donations to York County Hospital Foundation, Newmarket, would be appreciated.

A plaque marking the building of the Bradford Public Library in 1962. The plaque is heavyweight and made of metal. It notes donors and the names of members of the Library Board at the time. The plaque was removed from the Library's John Street West location after it was decommissioned following the building of a new Library location at 100 Holland Court.
