"The Tee-We-Gwill chapter of the Women's Institute held their first meeting with this year's officers last Monday night at the home of Mrs. Barbara Wilcox on Beeton Road. The Women's Institute was originally founded in Ontario to educate women in rural areas in the homemaking field. Since then it has become a world-wide community services oriented organization. The Tec-We-Gwill chapter sponsors a Can-Save Child in Austria, as well as sponsoring the Tec-Gwill 4-H Club for young women."

"Jane Enwright, daughter of William Prestaya, graduated July 18, 1975 from St. Joseph's Hospital, Toronto, in conjunction with the George Brown College. Garden party was held in her honor on July 20."

"Robert Brown of West Gwillimbury Township, recently joined the ranks of relatively elite professionals. Earlier this year Mr. Brown was given accreditation as an appraiser by the Appraisal Institute of Canada. It took him 10 years and a lot of study to attain the position. Brown says his new status won't change much. He points out that he only has six or so years until his retirement and he is happy working for the ministry. However, he didn't completely rule out the possibility of hanging out a shingle and going to work for himself. But right now, he is going to sit back and enjoy life."

"Richard S. Rak, 270 Simcoe Street, Bradford, graduated Friday, June 6th from York University's Faculty of Administrative Studies with his Bachelor of Arts [Honors Business Administration]. Richard has currently accepted a position with the Bank of Montreal in this area."

"John H.R. Allan graduated February 7, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Geography at a Winter Convocation of Guelph. The graduate is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Allan of Churchill."
