Description : Son to Louis A. and Florence C. Neilly of Gilford, brother to Louis, Isabella, Carrie, Allen and Billie died in his 27th year as a result of a flying accident. The Sergeant-Pilot instructor will be interred at St. John's Cemetery in Coulson's Hill.

Description : Well known former Gilford resident Helen Neilly, 66, died Friday at Toronto General Hospital from a stroke. Mrs. Neilly suffered the stroke July 8 at her home in Englehart, Ont. and was then flown to Toronto General for further medical attention. Sister-in-law of Simcoe County School Board trustee Sam Neilly of Gilford, Mrs. Neilly leaves her husband Louis, sons Scott and Peter, Gilford, daughter Louise, Brampton and Sharon Kostyk, North Bay.Funeral services were held for friends and family on July 19 at Gilford United Church.
