This building was located on Holland St. E. The store pictured was owned by W. Curry who opened the business in 1943. Before Bradford Seed House opened, this building was a shoe store rented by Joe Coridan from Howard Bowser (Bowsher), an Englishman, who owned the building at that time. Today the building has been demolished and this site is a parking lot near the CIBC bank.

This building was owned and operated by Frank Allan and his son. They supplied Farm, Garden and Agricultural equipment to Bradford. The eagle sitting on a globe statue out front was a local landmark and symbolized that Case equipment was used around the world. The store was located next to Joe's barber shop and the sign for Canadian Tire can be seen up the street.

"Dear editor,
We, the Gwillim group, a sub-committee of the Bradford West Gwillimbury Local History Association, are delighted to inform the community about our project to commemorate the Town's 150th Anniversary. We have commissioned a bronze sculpture of Elizabeth Posthuma Simcoe (nee Gwillim), to be placed in the Post Office Parkette on the corner of John and Barrie Streets (on the Yonge St. route). The sculptor is Brenda Wainman Goulet, who created the bronze sculptures of Dr. Bethune in Gravenhurst and the Tom Thomson in Huntsville."...
