Howard McLeod is the son of Mr. R. Forbes and the late Mrs. Forbes of Belle Ewart. After returning from a short motor trip, the couple resided in Toronto.

Beloved husband of Eva Dales and dear father of Ed, Lefroy, Florence (Mrs. Jack Watson), Bramalea, Reg, Creemore, Velma (Mrs. Forbes), London, Harry, Aurora, Marion, (Mrs. George Fuller), Ajax, and the late Walter and Orville. Loving brother of Hazel (Mrs. Charles Watt), Toronto. Survived by 24 grandchildren. Loving stepfather of Elmer Dales, Toronto, Jean (Mrs. Bill Hunter), Downsview, Harold, Rexdale and Edith (Mrs. Archie Adams), Toronto. Friends may call at the Lewis Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford. Service in the chapel Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

JACKSON, Edgar M. (Ed), suddenly at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Sunday, November 5, 1989. Ed Jackson of Lefroy in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy Reid, dear father of Evelyn and her husband Dean Bergerson of Pickering, Sandra and her husband Bill Culbert of Ottawa, Murray and his wife Bonnie of Barrie, Bill and his wife Darlene of Bradford, dear brother of Reg, Harry, Florence Watson, Velma Forbes, Marion Fuller and predeceased by Walter and Orville.Also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Friends called at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford. Service was held in the chapel on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 1090 at 3:30 p.m. Interment, 6th line Cemetery, Innisfil. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Description : In failing health for over a year, Mrs. Charles Jackson of Bradford passed away in York County Hospital, Newmarket, on December 4, 1965. Mrs. Jackson's maiden name was Eleanor McLean, and she was born in Pennville in 1889. On December 30, 1908 she married Charles Jackson, the marriage taking place at the home of her parents in Cookstown. Until moving to Bradford in October, 1943, Mr. and Mrs. Jackson resided in townships adjacent to Cookstown and Bradford. Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband and four sons and three daughters, namely Edgar, Orville, Florence, Reginald, Wilma, Harry and Marion. She was predeceased by a son, Walter. Mrs. Jackson attended Bradford United Church and the funeral services were in charge of her minister, Rev. D. Lute, and were held from the Lewis Funeral Home on December 7, with interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

The brides attendant was the grooms sister Mrs. Howard Forbes and Mr. Howard Forbes attended the groom. The couple will return to Nova Scotia where the L.S.C. Reginald Jackson will proceed to his station in Newfoundland.
