Description : The home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Neilly, Churchill, Ont., was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday, Dec. 9th, when their only daughter, Viola Irene, was united in marriage to Mr. Albert Ralph Dale of McKeesport, Pa., U.S.A.,younger son of Mr. John Dale, Gilford. The bride, who was unattended, was given away by her father, and looked charming in a gown of rose flat silk canton with trimmings of gold lace, and wore baudeau in her hair. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. S. McEwen, the bridal couple standing under an arch of evergreen and white decorated with bells. The bridal chores was played by Mrs. Lorne E. Neilly, sister-in-law of the bride. After receiving congratulations, the guests numbering thirty sat down to a delectable wedding dinner. The groom's gift to the bride was a handsome cheque, to the organist an ivory set. The presents were both numerous and costly, including a number of cheques, showing the high esteem in which the young couple are held. The evening was spent in games and social intercourse. The bride's grandmother, Mrs. John Steele, now in her ninetieth year, was present. Mr. and Mrs. Dale will leave shortly for McKeesport, Pa., where they will reside.
