ANDREWS, Gladys Mae (Simpson), suddenly at Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, August 16, 1989, in her 46th year. Gladys Andrews, previously of Gilford and most recently Foxboro, beloved wife of Vimy, beloved mother of Kimberly and Shawn, still at home. Beloved daughter of Grace Simpson and the late Archie Simpson of Gilford, dear sister of Mary Dawe (Harvey), Albert Simpson (Shirley), Alice Ritchie (Lawrence), Ronald Simpson (Joan), Diana Davey (Roy), George Simpson (Margaret), Ruth Verrips (Dick), Elsie Visser, Robert Simpson (Julie), Kenneth Simpson (Marianne), Shawn Simpson (Diane), Patrick Simpson (Sandy), Heather Simpson, Sheila Visser (Rick), the late James Simpson and Tim Taylor (Joanne). Gladys was loved by 72 nieces and nephews. She will ever be remembered by many children in Foxboro whom she babysat. Funeral services were held at the McConnel Funeral Home, Madoc, Ont. on August 19, 1989 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Eldorado Cemetery, Eldorado. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Description : Dr. Watson died at his home in Toronto on Wednesday of last week. Dr. Watson and Mrs. Watson had visited Bradford during the centennial reunion. Dr. Watson was born near Kingston and was a graduate of Queen's University. He practiced at Granby for 12 years before joining the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War. After the war was over he practiced in Bradford for several years, where he was recognized as a skillful doctor. He is survived by his widow and one brother. Dr. and Mrs. Watson's only son, Craig was killed in a motor accident in 1952.

"Donald J. Gordon, son of Joseph and Jean Gordon of RR 2, Bradford, received his law degree at a special convocation ceremony March 29. He is a graduate of Bradford District High School, Queen's University and Queen's Law School at Kingston, and the bar admission course at Osgoode Hall, Toronto. He is now associated with Douglas A. Farr of Walkerton in the practice of law."
