"Lacrosse was the sport in Bradford earlier this century. Bradford players and teams were among the best in the country, and games drew huge crowds at the old lacrosse field on Simcoe Street. One side of two Canadian Lacrosse Association Championship medals awarded to William L. Campbell and Dr. Lewis H. Campbell. Both men were on Bradford's lacrosse team , Dr. Campbell won a medal for 1902 and 1905 and William won one for 1905. This side of each medal has engraving, including of two lacrosse sticks.

Description : Husband of Sadie Saint and father to Mrs Harvey Marks (Dorothy) died in his home after a seizure from thrombosis. Mr Reeves was a Town Constable for Bradford. He was born in England and moved to Bradford at 13. Member of the Bradford lacrosse championship team of 1908-09. Rev. H.G. Blake conducted the ceremony and interment is in St. Pauls' Cemetery, Coulson's Hill.
