This picture was taken before 1912.

              Dunkerron Methodist Church

              The Dunkerron Methodist Church, built in 1883. It later became United. The basswood tree, shed, and picket fence are now gone. It is believed that some people are buried beneath the front steps.

              Brandon Home

              The Brandon home in 1847. The last Brandon family member died in 1938 and Karon and Ron mills restored the home in 1966.

              S. S. # 1 in Dunkerron built in 1891 and burnt down in June of 1898. For the remaining weeks the school Entrace pupils studied in the Quaker church. The rest of the classes went to No. 4 School. Entrance pupils were Edith McDorith, Langtry Doyle, Joe Mollison and Geo. Walker. Teacher - Ira Clarke. Front Row (l-r): Joel Hughes, Unknown, Geo.
