Description : A native of Innisfil Township, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Bain, died at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, after a prolonged illness. She was in her 27th year.Born on

Concession 3, Innisfil, on June 25, 1928, the deceased was the former Mary Elizabeth Rainey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rainey of Barrie. She spent her childhood days at Bethesda and attended Bethesda Public School and Bethesda United Church and Sunday School, where she was living at the time of her death.She was a member of the United Church.Besides her parents, Mrs. Bain is survived by two brothers, James Rainey and Herman Rainey of Cookstown; four sisters, Mrs. Cecil Speers (Minnie), of Ivy, Mrs. Max Munro (Lila), of Barrie, Mrs. Frank Mucha (Eva), of Geraldton, and Mrs. Jack Wilson (Laura), of Whitby; her husband, Roy Bain, of Barrie, and three children, Bobby, four, and her twin daughter and a son, Dianne and David, three.The funeral service at the Jennett Funeral Home, Barrie, on Aug. 18, was conducted by Rev. Mr. Munson. Pallbearers were Orville Carter, Howard Carter, Garnet Let, Morley Allen, George Moir and Jack Wilson. Interment was in Cookstown United Church Cemetery.
