Description : Died at St. Catharines General Hospital. Born in Bradford, Ont., he was of U. E. Loyalist descent, his family being one of the original settlers of Simcoe County. He had been a resident of St. Catharines for the past fifteen years. Failing health forced his retirement from Lincoln Motors about two years ago.He attended Welland Avenue United Church and was also a veteran member of the Canadian Order of Forresters, Court Queen No. 81, of Toronto.He is survived by his widow, one son, Norman Edgar Belfry of St. Catharines, and a sister, Mrs. J. G. (Alma) Near, of Toronto. Service was held Jan. 12, at the funeral home of Butler & Son. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines.
