Four people killed when light truck crashes into bus near Churchill. Dead are Lloyd Robbins and John Matteer, both of Belle Ewart, Donald L. Hill of Bradford, and Mrs. Dorothy Schauteer. Mrs. Robbins also later died in hospital.

SHEPPARD, Gerald H. (owner/operator of Lake Simcoe Marine, Bell Ewart) after a lengthy illness at home, died peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Sunday, Dec. 15, 1991. Gerald Sheppard of Bell Ewart Ontario in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Pat and dear father of Gerry and Darlene of Bell Ewart, Lorrie and Bill Jackson of Bradford and Dwayne of Bell Ewart. Loving Granddad of Daryll, Amanda, Gregory and David. Also survived by brothers and sisters Bernard, Shirley Walmer, Martin, Lee, Nina Wilcox and Roy. Rested at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday Dec. 18 at 11:00 a.m. Internment [sic] at Highland Memory Gardens, Toronto. Donations to the Canadian Cander Society would be appreciated by the family.
