Description : Died of coronary thrombosis. Husband of Gladys Lennox. Father of Mrs. R.M. Gillespie and David Chantler. Native of Newton Robinson. Served overseas in World War I with the 157th Battalion, Machine Gun Corps., and was severely wounded in France in 1917. Proprietor of the Baycroft Store on St. Clair Ave. West, Toronto, a dairy products business which he had established twenty years previous. Active with the St. Clair Businessmen's Association, on the board of managers at St. Columbia United Church. Charter member of Simcoe Lodge A.F. & A.M., member of Manitoba Lodge, A.F. & A.M., Cookstown. Funeral held in Toronto. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery.
