Coulson's Hill
The hamlet of Coulson's Hill was named after the Coulson family who settled here in 1822. They donated the land for the two church properties and cemeteries. The Anglican church was built in 1854, the Presbyterian church in1857. The hamlet was the home for a hotel, stagecoach shop, a blacksmith shop and an Orange Hall.

Jack was the son of Margaret Parks (nee Lee) (1851-1919) and Richard Parks (1854-1895). Margaret was the daughter of Thomas Lee (1794-1868) and Ann Graham (abt. 1825-1903).

COUTTS, Harold Lloyd suddenly at his home at RR-1 Bradford on Sunday, November 8th, 1987. Harold Coutts in his 80th year, beloved husband of Gwynneth Hughes, dear father of Lloyd and his wife Marilyn and predeceased by Joan. Dear grandfather of Jane, Andrew, Laura, Colin and Kevin. Friends called at Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford. Service was held in the chapel Wednesday, November 11th, 1987 at 2:00 pm. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Coulson's Hill.

Beloved husband of Elsie Van Nostrand, loving father of William and his wife Matilda Curry. Pre-deceased by his sister Jessie (Mrs. A.B. Gardiner). Friends called at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford. Service was held in the chapel on Friday, December 28, 1990, at 2 p.m. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Coulson's Hill.
