Description : Ebenezer United Church was decorated with pink and white gladioli on Saturday afternoon, July 22, when Margaret Anne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred B. Kneeshaw of Gilford, was united in marriage to Mr. Charles William Dingman of Stratford, Ontario, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dobson Dingman of Stratford. Rev. Frederick B. Hewitt performed the marriage ceremony. The wedding music was played by Mr. Donald A. Ross of Hamilton. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was lovely wearing white organza, designed with scoop neckline accented with bouquets of daisies, encrusted with see pearls, long sleeves, and skirt extending into a chapel sweep. Her veil fell from a head-piece of orange blossoms and her flowers were a cascade of white glamellias with stephanotis. The bride was attended by two sisters Miss Noreen Kneeshaw of Kitchener, was maid of honour, an Miss Muriel Kneeshaw of Toronto, was bridesmaid. Their dresses were pink embroidered organza with matching mohair hats and they carried clusters of pink Sweetheart roses. Mr. Stanford H. Dingman of Stratford was groomsman and the ushers were Mr. Robert L. Barr of Stratford and Mr. George E. Jackson of Montreal. The wedding reception and dinner was held at Summit View Gardens, Richmond Hill, where the bride's mother received the guests wearing a frock of rose shantung, with matching hat, ad her flowers were pale pink roses. Mrs. Dingman chose a beige toned dress, with matching hat and flowers. Leaving for a trip to Quebec and Gaspe, the bride donned a dress of bone silk shantung, with bone and gold petal hat and coral glamellia flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Dingman will reside at 203 Wellington Street, Stratford, upon their return. Before her marriage the bride was honoured at parties and showers by the staff in which she taught in London; by Mrs. E. Norman T. Griffith in Stratford; Miss Judith Blake in Toronto; Mrs. Walter Lloyd, Bradford; a community shower; a presentation by Ebenezer United Church, and a rehearsal dinner given by Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Dingman at Riverview Inn for the wedding party.
