Beloved husband of Rien (van den Oetelaar). Dear father of Ann and her husband Ken Scotch. Jeff and his wife Sharon, Lawrence and his wife Gail and predeceased by John and Lorraine. Dear brother of Maria Van Boxtel, Wilhelmus, Petrus, and predeceased by Wim, Christianus, Hendrika Eikenaar, Theodorus, Gijsbertus, and Henricus. Dear Opa of Lisa, Kevin, and Brian Scotch; Dianna and Bob Hellings; Jade and Zachary Hellings. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and the Netherlands. Friends called at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford for visitation. Funeral Mass was held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, Bradford on Friday, November 17, 2000 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford. Donations to the Palliative Care of Cancer Unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation, Newmarket would be appreciated.
