HOWLETT, Bertha Ida - (Past Matron of Faith Chapter, O.E.S., No. 274) Peacefully at the Arbor Living Centre, Newmarket on Monday November 14, 1994. Bertha Howlett of Gilford and formerly of Leaside, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late James B. McLaughlan [sic (spelled McLauchlan later in this article)] and the late Peter Howlett. Loving mother of Fred McLauchlan [sic] and his wife Evelyn of West Hill, and Jean (Mrs. John O'Neill) of Gilford. Dear grandmother of Donald McLauchlan, Lynn Murphy, and Kevin O'Neill. Dear great-grandmother of Ian and Cynthia McLauchlan and Marie, Myles, and James Murphy. Friends called at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Scarborough on Thursday at 11 a.m. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
