Description : At home in Cookstown in his 81st year. Had sustained injuries in a fall outside his residence two weeks prior. Born in Mulmur Township, farming at Honeywood until 1920, when he purchased and moved to the Morrison farm on
Concession 13, Tecumseth. Retired eleven years previous. Predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Ann Wilkinson, at Honeywood, and by his second, Mary Agnes Laverty of Orangeville, on January 28, 1938. Married Mary Leslie in October 1938, who survives him. Also surviving are children Hector, the only child from his first marriage, Honeywood; Lillian (Mrs. Ernest Hodgson), Bradford, and Alexander, of Cookstown, from his second marriage. Also a brother, Robert, of Brampton, and sisters Mrs. Neil Rayburn and Mrs. Robt. Reid of Shelburne, and Mrs. Benjamin Lloyd, of Horning's Mills. Five grandchildren and two stepchildren. Funeral July 28 in St. John's Anglican Church, Cookstown, Rev. B. Atkinson officiating. Interment Alliston Union Cemetery.
