Copies of a letter from Bob Evans dated March 29, 1984 pertaining to the Ventures in Mission campaign, including handwritten edits and a handwritten list of Ventures in Mission committee members. A handwritten note to "Bob" (Bob Evans) from "Henry" (Rev. Henry Dahlin) about the booklet.

The United Church is located on Barrie Street. This church was built around 1865 and uses the Gothic style of architecture. It is the oldest surviving church in town. This building may have been designed by John Howard, a famous architect in Toronto who designed churches and public buildings resembling this one. The Sunday School room at the back of the present church was the first church built in 1836. Originally this was a Methodist Church.
Newspaper clipping cut out from the January 28, 1987 issue of The Bradford Weekly. The clipping contains two photographs of the 25th anniversary celebration of the United Church Women (UCW) group, with caption included. The caption identifies the subject of one of the photos as Ruth Langford. The second picture is a posed photo of the UCW group.
The article accompanying this photograph gives a quick history of the Trinity Episcopal Church, later known as the trinity Anglican Church at the corner of Church and James Streets. Rev. George B. Morley was the rector of this new building since the church was destroyed by fire on April 4, 1900. It was re-erected and opened on December 2, 1900 by Rev. Morley.
"Sunday, June 10th marked the Centenary of Trinity Church, Bradford. Two services were held with congregations far exceeding the seating capacity of the church. The rector, Rev. H.G. Blake, conducted the services." ...
"Every year, Bradford's Trinity Anglican Church holds the largest charity auction in Bradford West Gwillimbury. Items up for bids range from the sublime - a diamond ring, donated by Universal Gems; a hot air balloon ride donated by Hugh Adams - to the downright silly. Last year, under the direction of auctioneer Allen Homer, bidding was fierce for the right to shave off the beards of two hirsute volunteers. This year, the event will be raising funds to install a handicapped access ramp and an elevator at the church. The auction takes place Friday, May 13th, 7:30 p.m. at the Bradford Arena. There is no admission charge. Refreshments can be purchased."
