Description : Well known former Gilford resident Helen Neilly, 66, died Friday at Toronto General Hospital from a stroke. Mrs. Neilly suffered the stroke July 8 at her home in Englehart, Ont. and was then flown to Toronto General for further medical attention. Sister-in-law of Simcoe County School Board trustee Sam Neilly of Gilford, Mrs. Neilly leaves her husband Louis, sons Scott and Peter, Gilford, daughter Louise, Brampton and Sharon Kostyk, North Bay.Funeral services were held for friends and family on July 19 at Gilford United Church.

Description : The marriage took place in the Presbyterian Manse in Allandale with the Rev. N. R. D. Sinclair conducting the ceremony. Ruth Ellenor is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Prince of Bradford. David Clarence Mundy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Mundy of Bradford. After the honeymoon, the couple will reside on a farm in the Hollows.

Description : Friends of Frank Adamson were shocked last Wednesday when the message came that he was dead. Mr. Adamson worked on a night shift at Malton and left home Tuesday evening apparently in his usual good health and high spirits. According to information reaching here he tripped while at work and fell striking his head. He was rushed unconscious to Toronto Western Hospital but was dead on arrival. Mr. and Mrs. Adamson came to Bradford about eight years ago and for the first several years here Mr. Adamson managed the Imperial service station at the corner of Barrie and John Streets. He then worked on the highway for a time before beginning work at Malton, going back and forth daily from here. He is survived by his wife and three children, Ronald 16, Susie, 9, and an infant son. The funeral was held here on Jan. 2 with Rev. H. G. Blake conducting the services. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The pallbearers were members of the Bradford Canadian Corps.

Description : Died at her home, Coulson's Hill, in her 69th year. Beloved wife of Edwin L. Fennell and dear mother of Doris (Mrs. A. M. Cameron), Sault Ste. Marie; John, of Bradford, and Mary (Mrs. W. S. Calhoun), Toronto. Rested at the Lathangue-Kilkenny Funeral Home, Simcoe St., Bradford, until Tuesday noon. Service in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Coulson's Hill, at 2 p.m. Interment adjoining cemetery.
