Morley was the rector of this new building since the church was destroyed by fire on April 4, 1900. It was re-erected and opened on December 2, 1900 by Rev. Morley.

It began in Aurora by James Whimster and a Mr. Wilcox in 1886, though in 1904 it was launched in Bradford by Charles Elliot. The store featured dried goods, furnishings, clothing, and groceries.
