Description : The death occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. Foran, on Friday, May 7, of a well known and highly respected resident of this district in the person of Mrs. Minnie Hannah (Mary) Noble. Mrs. Noble was only ill for about a week, her death coming suddenly after an attack of thrombosis.Born in Wiltshire, England, on January 16, 1870, Mrs. Noble came to Canada over 60 years ago and lived in Toronto, North Bay and Newtonbrook before coming to Bond Head over 30 years ago. She was a daughter of George and Mary Skull.Her husband, Charles Noble, predeceased her in June, 1937.Surviving are three sons and two daughters, Charles of Toronto, Tyson of London, Mrs. F. Foran (Alicia) of Bond Head, Mrs. Jas. Halloran (Isabel) of Nanaimo, B.C., and Joseph of Bond Head; also 11 grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister, living in England, also survive.Service was held on Monday, May 10, at the home of her daughter, conducted by Rev. C. R. P. Hearn and Rev. Newell, with interment in Bond Head Cemetery.Pallbearers were Gordon Bradley, Roy Dixon, Duncan McArthur, Chas. Brown, Cecil Thompson and William Brooks.Friends attended from Toronto, London, Newtonbrook, Willowdale, Newmarket, Bradford, Beeton and Newton Robinson.The lovely floral tributes bore silent tribute testimony to the respect in which the deceased was held and included wreaths from the United Church, Canada Wire and Cable Co., Toronto, Roman Brick Factory, Bond Head community, as well as many from very close friends.
