Description : A very pretty wedding was solemnized on Saturday, May 21, in Bradford Presbyterian Church, when Nancy Irene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Culbert of Bradford, exchanged vows with Gordon Victor Young, son of Mrs. Arnold Young of Toronto and the late Mr. Young. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. W. R. Adams of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Barrie, against a background of white gladioli, pink carnations and blue chrysanthemums. Miss Judy Watts of Bradford was soloist and sang The Lord's Prayer" and "Because" accompanied by Mrs. Kenneth Wood of Bradford. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a full-length gown featuring the Empire waistline with fitted bodice of Chantilly lace and lily-point sleeves. The slim skirt of organza over taffeta was accented by a double train of organza trimmed with matching lace."

Description : Arnold Noel Young, 51, of Lefroy, was killed in a broadside collision at the intersection of Highway 11 and Alcona Sideroad south of Stroud, early Saturday morning.Young died at the scene of the accident after his vehicle had been hit by a car driven by Ian Charles Ewing, 19, of Failsworth Ave., Toronto. He was southbound on the highway when the Ewing car pulled out of the sideroad.The accident was investigated by the Barrie provincial police detachment who have charged Ewing with failing to yield the right-of-way.Coroner Dr. Frank Shannon said that cause of death was massive hemorrhage due to internal injuries.Mr. Young was an electrician and the father of four children. It is believed he was on his way home from a trip to Barrie to pick up electrical supplies when the accident took place.

"My names Kenny," said the boy.
