Description : Fourth daughter of the late Squire William and Sarah Jane Armson, of Nottingham, England. One of nine children, and the only other surviving child is Mr. John Armson. The family lived on lot 5, concession 7.Born in West Gwillimbury on March 24th, 1826.Married Mr. William Lowry, who survives her, on March 23rd, 1843.Lived on lot 6, concession 7.Mother of eight sons, and three daughters. Six sons - John and George, of West Gwillimbury; William and Robert, of Toronto; Thomas of Norfolk, Virginia; and Alfred, of Manitoulin Island - and one daughter - Mrs. Gordon, of West Gwillimbury - survive. Age: 74 years, 11 months.Died of inflammation of the lungs and pleurisy.Interred at Middleton cemetery.Additional article in the February 21st edition.
