Description : With the same quiet dignity that characterized his life, Orm died on April 4, 1997 at Women's College Hospital, at the age of 85. He was predeceased by his dear wife Verna (Davis). Always the loving and patient father, he will be forever missed by his children Lucille Moe and her husband Roy, Glenda MacNaughton and Ed Membery and his wife Patricia. Cherished grandfather of Douglas Essam, Lee (Essam) Legg, Steven Essam, Louise and Mary MacNaughton, Carey (Membery) Chappell and Craig Membery, and beloved pop to Kim (Goodman) Harrison, Tracey Goodman and Chris Goodman. Great-grandfather of Erika, Alexandra, Riley, Christian, Eric, Sydney and Avery. Orm will be lovingly remembered by his dear sister Edna Ludlow of Barrie. The Membery family wish to thank the friends and caregivers who helped Orm to live a dignified and meaningful life in his later years and those who showed compassion and respect in his final weeks; Care Cor nurses Ida, Debbie, Laurie and Esta. Thanks also to Frank Bovell and the women at Women's College Hospital who were supportive. Friends may call at Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford, for visitation on Sunday 2-4 p.m. A private family service will be held.
