Highway 11 tangled due to blizzard

Tangle of cars, buses and snowplow on Highway No. 11 north of Bradford was being cleared to remove bottleneck in Ontario's main north-south highway yesterday when Globe and Mail plane slid down for a close view, which is looking north. Sunday night some 500 motorists were stranded in this region.

Methodist Church

Bradford Old Presbyterian Church

Bradford First Presbyterian Church, 1847. Located on the site of the present church where it stood until 1892 when it was sold to Trinity Anglican Church, Bradford. It was then moved to the site of the present Anglican Rectory where it was used as a Parish Hall until 1951.

At The Dance

Dance in the basement assembly room of Bradford High School. Shown in the photo from left to right are George Petro, David (Zeke) Lee, and Emil Maslak. During the dance the boys sat on one side of the room and the girls sat on the other.

Bradford Public School

Class room in Bradford High School

Room 5 of Bradford District High School during the 1952-1953 school year. Originally a cloak room it was converted into a classroom to hold 12 students.
