Description : An interesting wedding took place Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Ritchie, when their only daughter, Marion Alice, became the bride of Mr. Reginald J. Coker of Toronto, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Coker of Avening, Ont.Rev. L. McLean performed the ceremony in the spacious drawing room, beautifully decorated with a profusion of roses, ferns and Madonna lillies.Miss Janie Broughton played the wedding music. During the signing of the register Miss Bessie Sinclair of Toronto san Because." The bride given in marriage by her father wore an ivory gown of bridal satin designed on long lines with close-fitting sleeves. Her veil of silk net and chantilly lace was caught with orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of butterfly roses baby's breath and fern. The bride was attended by Mrs. Milton Ritchie matron of honor and Miss Henrietta Lee of Schumacher as bridesmaid who wore similar frocks of yellow and green organza. Both attendants carried old-fashioned nosegays. Mr. Ben Coker was his brother's groomsman. Following the ceremony a reception was held and a luncheon served. Later the bride and groom left on a motor trip to Vancouver the bride wearing a blue and white crepe swagger ensemble with matching accessories. On their return in autumn Mr. and Mrs. Coker will take up residence at 58 Frankland Ave. Toronto."
